Equipped with an array of scientific instruments, otherwise available only in industry-grade labs, the tinkering lab allows students to let their imagination run wild. Using 3D printers, CNC machines, Raspberry Pi and sensors along with engineering tools for rapid prototyping, students will be able to bring their ideas to life.
Unique scientific experiments, which are part of the school curriculum, will allow students a chance to experience first-hand the cause and effects of various biological, physical and chemical phenomenon taught in classrooms. From measuring gravity using simple everyday items to generating electricity from magnets, students will be able to experiment, analyze and understand various scientific concepts.
Applying scientific concepts in the world beyond classrooms is where the rubber hits the road. From applying principles of magnetism to build a levitating train to analysing the effects of different anti-bacterial substances by observing them under microscope to testing tap water, all of these experiments help us understand the applications of science in our everyday lives and the impact they have on the world around us.
